We've been on both sides of this story.

Luminance Collective was built by a husband and wife - two people with a genuine, firsthand understanding of the hospitality world.

Together, we grew a travel Instagram to 60,000 followers at its peak, organically. That opened doors to press trips, paid partnerships, and collaborations with boutique hotel and tourism brands we genuinely loved. We know this world from the inside - as creators, as guests, and now as the people who map the business behind the beauty.

We built Luminance Collective because we've been on both sides of this story.

We've been the client who hired the wrong consultant. We've been the owners with a product that was genuinely extraordinary - and a business underneath it that was bleeding money quietly. We knew something was broken. We couldn't find the time, the energy, or the right partner to fix it.

That experience built this business.

Brand Strategist, Creative Director & Marketing Architect

Whitney Woolstenhulme

Whitney built her first real business almost entirely on instinct.

Doodle Doods grew from zero to $250K a year. 55,000 active email subscribers. Up to a million monthly visitors. Four revenue streams. An email automation system that still runs passively more than two years after she built it - without anyone touching it.

She figured out SEO, email architecture, funnel strategy, and lead capture through relentless testing. No playbook. No mentor. She built a proprietary lead capture tool from scratch that quadrupled daily email signups overnight.

The most defining moment of her career: ALSET Auto. A broken sales funnel. A 14.6% booking rate. She diagnosed the whole thing, rebuilt it, and turned it into 53.8%. Revenue per lead nearly doubled. Cost per acquisition cut in half. Flat ad spend throughout.

That's what Whitney does. She finds what's broken. She fixes it.

Operations Director, Hospitality Expert & Numbers Guy

Kyle Holt

Kyle spent seven years inside Marriott Vacation Club.

He knows how hotel businesses actually run - not in theory, but from the inside. Guest experience. Revenue management. Brand standards. Operational systems at scale. He has the institutional knowledge that most consultants who've never worked inside a hotel simply don't have.

He's also the numbers guy. Kyle gets the math - the metrics, the data, the patterns that tell the real story of how a business is performing. When the Diagnostic surfaces the numbers, Kyle is the one who knows what they actually mean. He determines, with data, where we focus and in what order.

He also ran a multi-staff automotive service business as General Manager - twelve people at peak, with all the staffing and operational complexity that comes with it.

When Whitney finds the leak, Kyle knows whether fixing it is a three-day project or a three-month one - and which one is worth doing first.

Kyle is the bridge between the brand strategy and the operational reality.

Our Values

What we actually believe:

Map the journey before you touch anything.

The fastest path to wasted money is fixing the wrong thing confidently. We audit first. We recommend after. Always.

Honesty over comfort.

We tell you what your business needs - not what you want to hear. If the brand is the problem, we'll say so. If it's not, we'll say that too.

We build what we recommend.

We are not a strategy-only firm. We don't hand off a deck. We stay and build it.

When in doubt, we over-explain.

We'd rather give you too much context than not enough. You should always know what we're doing, why we're doing it, and what we're seeing. Transparency isn't a courtesy. It's how good partnerships work.

We're in this because we love it.

We love beautiful places. We love the owners who pour themselves into building them. We love the moment a system clicks and revenue starts moving.

If you've read this far, you already know if this is right for you.

Thirty minutes. No pitch. No pressure. Just a real conversation.
